MGM has announced
that a remake of The Amityville Horror is now being made. the content
for this remake motion picture is defined in their contract by the following
clause (partial). It is our belief that this definition is not being
followed. This is an issue in the current litigation brought by MGM
against Mr. George Lutz on June 23, 2004 in The U.S. Federal District Court,
Las Vegas, Nevada.
This information is posted for you to have a basic understanding of the part

For the purposes hereof, the term a "Remake Motion
Picture" shall be deemed to mean either a Theatrical Motion Picture, other
than a First Theatrical Motion Picture, or a made for Television Feature
Motion Picture, other than a First made for Television Feature Motion Picture,
which shall depict the same characters participating in the same or substantially
the same events as shall have been depicted in either a First Theatrical
Motion Picture or a First Made for Television Feature Motion Picture, as
the case may be, previously produced hereunder. |
